1Do I need to call ahead to attend a class?
No pre-registration is required unless noted in the class description.
2How much do classes cost?
The suggested donation is $10 to $25. For special programs, the cost will be noted in the individual program information.
3Do I need to commit to coming to a series of classes
No. Although students are encouraged to attend the entire series, each class will stand on its own.
4Is JRC an orthodox institution?
The JRC Directors and teachers are orthodox and do teach from an orthodox point of view. The JRC students, however, come from all backgrounds, and levels of observance and education.
5Is there a dress code?
No, there is no dress code.
6What level are the classes?
All classes are taught so that beginners can follow and enjoy the material and so that more advanced students will be challenged and gain further insights. Classes are open to all levels of students unless otherwise noted.
7Is knowledge of Hebrew necessary?
Unless specifically stated, no Hebrew knowledge is necessary.
8What is the age group of the students?
Our students are in their 20s and older.
9Are there any classes for men?
We do not have classes for men at the JRC, but men are welcome to listen to/view our lectures.
